As answered by people managing Intercom and PropFirmPineScripts.
PropFirmPineScripts's answer:
Most Pine Script strategies sold online are built to look good on a backtest. These are built around a different constraint: the rules that actually fail prop firm evaluation accounts.
Every strategy ships with an end-of-day auto-flatten, so a position is never carried overnight, and a daily loss kill switch that stops trading once a set loss threshold is hit. Those two rules are what most evaluations are lost on, and here they are enforced by the script rather than by the trader's discipline in the moment.
Strategies are also tuned per instrument and per account size (MES/MNQ for 50k evaluations, ES/NQ for 100k-150k) instead of one generic script applied to every chart. Full Pine source code is included with every subscription, so the logic can be read and modified rather than run as a locked black box.
PropFirmPineScripts's answer:
The strategies themselves are written in TradingView Pine Script (v6), and run inside TradingView. Distribution is invite-only access to the published scripts rather than file downloads, which is how access control works on that platform.
The storefront is a Node.js application, with Stripe handling subscription billing and Supabase (PostgreSQL) storing accounts, subscription state and delivery status. It is deployed on Vercel.
Strategy development and validation is done outside Pine as well, using a Python backtesting stack (pandas, NumPy, DuckDB) for parameter sweeps, walk-forward testing and Monte Carlo simulation against each prop firm's specific drawdown and profit-target rules, before anything is ported to Pine and published.
PropFirmPineScripts's answer:
Indicator subscriptions give you signals to interpret. These are complete strategies: entry, exit, stop, position sizing, and the evaluation firm's own risk rules encoded directly in the script.
The scope is deliberately narrow rather than general purpose. It covers futures instruments (MES, MNQ, ES, NQ, CL, MGC) and prop firm evaluations specifically, instead of trying to be a toolkit for every market and every timeframe. That narrowness is the point, because the risk rules being automated are specific to how evaluation accounts are failed.
Practical differences: full Pine source code is provided rather than obfuscated or locked; pricing is a flat monthly subscription starting at $24 with no per-seat or per-instrument upsell inside a tier; and access is granted invite-only on TradingView within 24 hours of signup. A one-time $250 custom build is available for instruments outside the standard catalogue, delivered as a .pine file with 14 days of revisions.
PropFirmPineScripts's answer:
Retail futures traders taking evaluation accounts with prop firms such as Apex Trader Funding, Topstep, FTMO and MyFundedFutures.
The typical user can already read a chart but keeps failing evaluations on rule violations rather than on strategy quality, most often by holding a position past the session close or by continuing to trade after a bad morning. That is the specific problem the scripts are built to remove.
Account sizes range from 50k evaluations (traded on micros, MES and MNQ) up through 100k and 150k accounts (traded on full-size ES and NQ). Users need a TradingView account, since delivery and execution both run through TradingView rather than a separate platform.
PropFirmPineScripts's answer:
PropFirmPineScripts came out of a fairly narrow observation: prop firm evaluations are usually failed on risk rules, not on entries. Traders hold something through the close, or keep trading after a bad morning, and the account is gone regardless of whether the underlying idea was any good.
Most Pine Scripts sold for that audience do not encode those rules at all. They are entry-and-exit logic, with the risk management left to the trader in the exact moment they are least able to apply it.
The product is a small, solo-run catalogue built the other way around: the evaluation constraints go into the script first (end-of-day auto-flatten, daily loss kill switch, per-account-size position sizing), and the entry logic is fitted to those constraints. It launched in 2026, sells directly to traders as a monthly subscription, and every strategy ships with readable source code rather than a locked build.
