As answered by people managing Intercom and Eventtia.
Eventtia's answer:
Two things. First, breadth without fragmentation: event pages, online registration and payments, email/SMS/WhatsApp campaigns, on-site check-in and badging, B2B matchmaking (Neworking), a mobile app and cross-event analytics are one system, not a suite of acquired products stitched together. Second, it's built to disappear into a brand's own stack: a REST API, MCP server, webhooks, N8N native integration and Zapier mean the platform can run headless behind a client's own web and mobile experience. Nike has been running that way since 2024. Most event platforms make you live inside their UI; Eventtia will happily be the engine underneath yours.
Eventtia's answer:
Nike, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co., Ralph Lauren, IWC Schaffhausen, Sony, Pierre Fabre and Kaspersky, alongside universities, associations and public-sector organizations. Luxury and retail is the deepest vertical.
Eventtia's answer:
Because the same platform handles a fifty 50 VIP dinner and a 10k person conference, which is what actually matters if you run an event program rather than one annual flagship event.
Enterprise incumbents are priced and scoped around large conferences and get heavy fast for the small, frequent, brand-led events in between; the lighter registration tools do the opposite and run out of room the moment you need badging, matchmaking or multi-region reporting. Eventtia sits where most real event calendars live. It's also genuinely trilingual platform and support in English, French and Spanish which is rare among US-built competitors and decisive for teams running one program across Europe, the Americas and Asia. 60,000+ events, 11M+ registered attendees, 97+ countries.
Eventtia's answer:
Enterprise and luxury brands with in-house event teams running recurring programs: product launches, client activations, roadshows, trade shows, internal summits where the attendee experience has to feel like the brand, not like a ticketing vendor. Strong secondary audiences in SMB's, associations and non-profits, universities, government and public sector, and pharma and healthcare: many events a year, strict data requirements, reporting across the whole program rather than one event at a time. Buyers are typically event marketing leads, communications teams, and the IT or data people who have to integrate whatever they choose.
Eventtia's answer:
Eventtia started in 2014 between two cousins on two continents. Mauricio Palacio was at Accenture in Paris; Esteban was in Medellín building registration tools for event organizers and seeing how broken the existing software was. They partnered across France and Colombia in French, English and Spanish from day one, which is why the product has been multilingual and multi-region since before that was a selling point.
The first global enterprise client, Pierre Fabre, arrived in 2017; the first 50,000-attendee event in 2018. COVID forced a pivot to virtual and hybrid in 2020. The decisive call came in 2022: stop trying to serve every event type and specialize in enterprise and luxury, on the theory that a platform that bends in every direction ends up shaped like nothing. Nike's headless integration across web and mobile followed in 2024, and an MCP server for AI-native event management in 2026. The team now works from twelve cities across five continents, with hubs in Bogotá, Medellín, Paris, Mexico City and Manila.
Eventtia's answer:
Ruby on Rails and Elixir on the backend, with PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis for data and caching. Infrastructure runs on AWS. React and Tailwindcss mainly on the front. The public website is a static Jekyll build on Cloudflare Pages. Integration surface is a REST API plus webhooks, Zapier, an MCP server.
