We adopted Pipedrive for our sales team because we were looking for a CRM that was sales focused and didn't come with all the other unnecessary features and complexity of other solutions. We have been very happy with Pipedrive and our sales team consistently have good things to say about it. More importantly though our sales team do actually add and update the data which had been a problem with our previous CRM which was too complex and cumbersome to get regular useage. The reporting functionality is good too and I can get a clear view on deals and where they are up to.
Pipedrive has made our business much more efficient in following up deals. Keep track of deals, meetings, mails and phone calls all in one place. We can quickly follow up on offers and used Pipedrive's automations and API to integrate our Vizito trials directly into Pipedrive.
It offers the most flexibility while maintaining an easy-to-use interface and their support is superb!

All alternatives are good but we prefer Pipedrive because of its great customization and most fit for company/business development.

I feel like Microsoft could offer a more robust CRM than what's present with 'Contacts' under Outlook, and pretty easily. Something like Pipedrive... The PHP website is indeed one of the worst parts of the whole ecosystem. Just look at the landingpage (https://php.net) and compare it with those of other languages. There's not a single piece of PHP code on the page. No "what is PHP", no "why should I use it", and no "that's why PHP is great". My initial idea was to leverage the main applicationโs queue worker by deploying a queue worker remotely and setting up a secure connection between them using something like Wireguard. Stack Overflow wasnโt as big yet, and finding answers often meant digging through forums filled with half-baked solutions, each dependent on specific hosting configurations. That's the first I've heard of it, and I like it! I can't tell you the number of trips to php.net to look at argument order for a function. Is it haystack/needle, or needle/haystack?
