Although F# can access the .NET library ecosystem, it has a relatively smaller number of libraries and frameworks specifically designed for it compared to languages like Python or JavaScript.
  • Niche Language
F# is often considered a niche language, which can lead to a smaller community and fewer resources compared to more popular languages.

Pipedrive is sales focused and easy to use

We adopted Pipedrive for our sales team because we were looking for a CRM that was sales focused and didn't come with all the other unnecessary features and complexity of other solutions. We have been very happy with Pipedrive and our sales team consistently have good things to say about it. More importantly though our sales team do actually add and update the data which had been a problem with our previous CRM which was too complex and cumbersome to get regular useage. The reporting functionality is good too and I can get a clear view on deals and where they are up to.

The best CRM for our SaaS business

Pipedrive has made our business much more efficient in following up deals. Keep track of deals, meetings, mails and phone calls all in one place. We can quickly follow up on offers and used Pipedrive's automations and API to integrate our Vizito trials directly into Pipedrive.

It offers the most flexibility while maintaining an easy-to-use interface and their support is superb!

    Keep up the great work!

    Best CRM Software: PipeDrive

All alternatives are good but we prefer Pipedrive because of its great customization and most fit for company/business development.

Why Weโ€™re Building Mria CRM: The First Truly Native CRM for Jira
Next, we tried going outside the Atlassian ecosystem โ€“ using standalone CRMs like Zoho and Pipedrive. While these platforms were powerful, integrating them with Jira was costly, complex, and prone to syncing issues. We constantly battled data silos, duplicated effort, and poor visibility across systems. What we gained in CRM functionality, we lost in efficiency.

  • Why doesn't Microsoft have a better CRM product...?
I feel like Microsoft could offer a more robust CRM than what's present with 'Contacts' under Outlook, and pretty easily. Something like Pipedrive... I mean it could syncronize all the datapoints that local Microsoft programs already have access to: mail, contacts, projects, teams, and LinkedIn. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Building Reach in Public
Pipedrive โ†’ our CRM for tracking leads, tasks, conversations, and deals. We chose Pipedrive because it does a good job of providing an intuitive and relatively simple CRM while still having enough features to track our sales conversations. Pricing is accessible. Source: over 4 years ago

F# mentions (22)

  • Solving the NY Times "Pips" game with F#
We'll use F# to implement this algorithm because functional programming is a good choice for "black box" problems like this that have no side-effects, and .NET is an easy, fast platform to work with. (F# is actually a great all-purpose language for just about anything, but I digress.). - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago

  • Rust panics under the hood, and implementing them in .NET
Before Rich made Clojure for the JVM, he wrote dotLisp[1] for the CLR. Not long after Clojure was JVM hosted, it was also CLR hosted[2]. One of my first experiences with ML was F#[3], a ML variant that targets the CLR. These all predate the MIT licensed .net, but prior to that there was mono, which was also MIT licensed. 1: https://dotlisp.sourceforge.net/dotlisp.htm 2: https://github.com/clojure/clojure-clr. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Roc โ€“ A fast, friendly, functional language
Oh yeah. A key hindrance of F# is that MS treats it like a side project even though it's probably their secret weapon, and a lot of the adopters are dotnet coders who already know the basics so the on-boarding is less than ideal. https://fsharp.org/ is the best place to actually start. https://fsharpforfunandprofit.com/ is the standard recommendation from there but there's finally some good youtube and other... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Building React Components Using Unions in TypeScript
Naturally Iโ€™d recommend using a better language such as ReScript or Elm or PureScript or F#โ€˜s Fable + Elmish, but โ€œReactโ€ is the king right now and people perceive TypeScript as โ€œless riskyโ€ for jobs/hiring, so here we are. - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
