We started as a family business and continue to be one. From the beginning, our primary focus was to provide free payroll for businesses with fewer than six employees. We began developing software for MS-DOS in 1986, which then moved to early versions of Microsoft Windows.

We have consistently engaged with the Australian Taxation Office since the late 1980s. In 2015, we were invited to participate in the Single Touch Payroll (STP) co-design journey. On July 6, 2017, after our collaboration efforts, we were approved and sent the first STP file to be successfully lodged and processed by the ATO. We were the first to STP report, which is very different from being "one of the first". We were at the forefront of co-design with the ATO to achieve this goal on behalf of the Payroll Industry so that others could follow.

We went on the road again with STP Phase 2 and continue to look forward to the future of payroll and seeing advancements realised.
