Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Ring2Talk and Pipedrive.

What makes your product unique?

Ring2Talk's answer

Ring2Talk combines outbound calling, LinkedIn prospecting, and e-signature in a single CRM, no need to juggle three separate tools. Every action (call, message, document sent) is logged against the contact automatically, giving sales teams a complete activity trail without manual data entry. The platform is built multi-tenant from the ground up, so each team operates in a fully isolated workspace with granular role permissions.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Ring2Talk's answer

Most CRMs are built around inbound pipelines. Ring2Talk is designed for outbound sales teams that prospect actively by phone and LinkedIn and need to close with a signed document in the same workflow. You get purpose-built tools for each stage (call, connect, sign) instead of a generic CRM patched with third-party integrations that break.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Ring2Talk's answer

B2B sales teams of 2 to 50 people running outbound campaigns: SDRs, account executives, and sales managers at SMBs and scale-ups. Particularly relevant for agencies, consulting firms, and any business where the sales rep both prospects (LinkedIn, phone) and closes (contract, e-signature) within the same deal cycle.

What's the story behind your product?

Ring2Talk's answer

Ring2Talk was built out of frustration with the tool fragmentation every outbound sales team faces: one tool to call, another to prospect on LinkedIn, a third to send contracts. The goal was a single workspace where a rep could start their day, work through their pipeline, and close deals without ever switching apps. It started as an internal tool and grew into a full CRM platform.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Ring2Talk's answer

  • Laravel 12 (PHP) backend API and business logic
  • Next.js 15 (React / TypeScript) marketing site with static export
  • PostgreSQL primary database
  • Laravel Sanctum API authentication
  • Stripe via Laravel Cashier subscription billing
  • Spatie Permission role and permission management

  • Why doesn't Microsoft have a better CRM product...?
I feel like Microsoft could offer a more robust CRM than what's present with 'Contacts' under Outlook, and pretty easily. Something like Pipedrive... I mean it could syncronize all the datapoints that local Microsoft programs already... Source: almost 4 years ago
