Interesting. I actually prefer when agents don't commit on my behalf unless I explicitly say so, I even had to add a custom instruction for Claude to stop doing it (Codex never does it). Even if I don't read all the code line-by-line, I at least want to see the changes at glance and commit myself. Git Fork[0] is a great tool for that, by the way. Lazygit is great, I use it all the time for straight forward git-fu. But if you do any advanced work that involves merging a complex codebase across multiple branches and having to manage your load of conflicts, I find Fork[1] (the free version does fine) still takes the cake for that, as the clarity and lack of keyboard bindings, is essential; to make good, conscious decisions. Https://tasksboard.com/ is the one I'm using at the moment, let me search over all my lists, I use the Chrome App / PWA local install rather than a browser tab. Source: almost 4 years ago
It's not from Google, but I'd recommend people check this out if they want Tasks as a freestanding app: https://tasksboard.com/. Source: almost 4 years ago
