Zim WikiZim Wiki is recommended for students, writers, researchers, and professionals who want a straightforward yet powerful tool for organizing their notes and managing projects. It is particularly suited for those who prefer a local application that doesn't rely on cloud services and who appreciate the ability to work offline with an open-source solution.
Based on our record, Zim Wiki seems to be a lot more popular than Java. While we know about 131 links to Zim Wiki, we've tracked only 7 mentions of Java. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Yeah, I'm a long time user/disciple of https://zim-wiki.org ; it was basically Obsidian but 15-20 years early. To do some of the things that are now trivially easy with Obsidian I learned scripting and such, so I'm familiar with this very weird coincidence/name collision. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
I would recommend Obsidian to new users. I've been using Zim Wiki for years; back then there was nothing better available and I now can't be bothered to migrate formats. https://obsidian.md/ https://zim-wiki.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
And for those who are only vaguely familiar, this ZIM file format is not the same as the https://zim-wiki.org one. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
I didn't know that Obsidian worked that cleanly; I occasionally flirt with it but have been using https://zim-wiki.org for about a decade longer, so my muscle memory is there. I keep looking for reasons to switch but so far nothing yet has done that? - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
Not quite shell -- but obligatory: I've been using http://zim-wiki.org for now .. decades? As my main driver for most everything in my life, including my personal and teaching website, custom template I made. jrm4.com. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
You can use UPnP PortMapper. Source code/Download. All you need is Java and that's it. Hope this helps. Source: over 4 years ago
I would definitely suggest installing Java for this one, and the error should have asked you to do so. I'll have to look into why that was not popping properly for you and address it in a bug fix. In the mean time, you can address the issue by going here to install Java: https://java.com/en/. Source: over 4 years ago
Https://java.com/en/ Is this the java you're using to install optifine. When I first got optifine I thought java meant Minecraft and not java. Source: over 4 years ago
I had this problem before just go to https://java.com/en/ and download the java then you will have to install the actual java, then after its installed go to This PC then Windows then Program Files then Java then go to the file name file name that show I think when you downloaded it then go into bin and you will find a java.exe file then click it and World Painter will install and that's who I solved king problem...
