  • Using e-filing service like track1099 or tax1099
I don't think I have enough time to apply for the IRS IRIS application and get approved to receive a TCC number to e-file through IRIS (and I'd rather use a service anyway). Can anyone clarify if there is some sort of additional IRS... Source: almost 3 years ago
  • I have some IRS 1099 filing questions - What is the new IRIS site? How is it different from the FIRE site? Industry accountant working for a company who's never e-filed before but I need to get us set up to do so for 2023
As long as your accounting software can export your contractor totals and you have their SSN or EINs, then just import that to tax1099.com and efile that. They also efile the 1096 which is the total the company paid to contractors. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Is it Too Late to Submit 1099's electronically?
But someone on here suggested tax1099.com. It only costs a few dollars, and seems like it works. Will this be OK? Source: over 3 years ago
