The thing that I personally like about Evernote is that before I have used word as my note taking application, than on my smartphone I have had used Google Keep and so my notes were just unorganized mess. But with Evernote now I can have my notes at one place and unified. Also the fact that I can log to another device and my notes are "just there" is really nice. And also I like graphics user interface of Evernote.

Its a software called Rainmeter, basically you can put widgets and go crazy with customization. For the taskbar its called TaskbarX (its also a skin in Rainmeter). As for the live time its LunaIUI Widget. Source: over 3 years ago
For those wondering, I'm pretty certain this is done with rainmeter. It's similar to this setup which has all the used skins posted. Clock is the same except with a different font for the bottom text, clear taskbar is like taskbarx or translucent taskbar, I couldn't find anything similar to the audio player so it's probably self made or edited from another preexisting skin. Obsidian is a multi-platform note-taking and writing app. Simple enough. But aren't there plenty of those around? Yes absolutely, but they each have downsides that I wasn't able to settle with long-term. With Google Cloud it was the difficult of linking between notes (this has improved since but it's still not quite what I want).
