Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing MaxIQ and ORM Technologies.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

MaxIQ's answer

Snowflake Commvault VAST Data Superna Diamanti

ORM Technologies's answer:

Trend Micro Zix (now OpenText)

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

MaxIQ's answer

Most tools stop at pipeline visibility or forecasting. MaxIQ goes further by connecting pre-sales and post-sales signals in one place.

Instead of relying only on rep inputs or CRM stages, MaxIQ uses activity, conversations, and customer data to surface risks early and improve execution. This helps teams make more reliable forecasts and avoid surprises later in the quarter.

ORM Technologies's answer:

Platforms like Clari and Gong provide pipeline visibility and conversation intelligence, but neither delivers prescriptive analytics. They won't tell you "shift $400K from channel A to channel B, reassign one SDR from enterprise to mid-market, and here's the revenue impact." ORM does. It also handles messy, siloed CRM data across multiple instances without forcing a painful migration — it normalizes everything into a single source of truth. And unlike self-serve tools, ORM acts as an extension of your team, meeting bi-weekly to interpret data, flag anomalies, and guide resource planning.

What makes your product unique?

MaxIQ's answer

Most revenue tools focus on a single part of the process, like forecasting or call analysis. MaxIQ connects the entire revenue journey in one system, from pipeline creation to renewals and expansion.

It combines forecasting, pipeline inspection, and conversation intelligence with real deal and customer signals, not just CRM stages. This gives teams a more accurate view of what is actually happening in deals and across accounts.

ORM Technologies's answer:

ORM is a managed prescriptive revenue analytics platform — not just a dashboard. A dedicated team of data scientists builds custom mathematical models on your CRM data and delivers specific, prioritized actions to close the gap between forecast and target. While most tools stop at showing you what happened, ORM tells you exactly what to do next: which deals to accelerate, where to reallocate reps, and how to shift marketing budget — with expected revenue impact for each action. Forecast accuracy runs 85–95%, verified across their client base.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

MaxIQ's answer

MaxIQ is built for B2B SaaS revenue teams, especially CROs, VP Sales, RevOps leaders, and Customer Success leaders.

It is best suited for teams that need better visibility into pipeline, forecast accuracy, and post-sales revenue performance across the full customer lifecycle.

ORM Technologies's answer:

B2B SaaS sales leaders, marketing executives, and revenue operations teams at companies between $100M and $1B ARR where forecast accuracy has board-level consequences.

What's the story behind your product?

MaxIQ's answer

MaxIQ was built to solve a common problem in B2B sales: teams can forecast deals, but struggle to predict actual revenue outcomes.

Most of the real signals live outside the CRM in calls, activity, and customer behavior. MaxIQ was designed to bring those signals together and give teams a clearer, more reliable view of revenue.

ORM Technologies's answer:

Founded in 2011 in Dallas, TX by John Ryan and Pete Furseth. John brings 30+ years as a senior executive in high-growth tech companies — he's been CEO/President of two public companies that both achieved 100%+ annual revenue growth. He holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, an MS in Engineering Management from SMU, and is a Chartered Accountant. ORM was built on the belief that sales and marketing leaders shouldn't just get reports — they should get specific, math-driven actions to hit their targets.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

MaxIQ's answer

MaxIQ is built to unify CRM data, customer interactions, and revenue signals in one platform for Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps teams. It uses artificial intelligence to analyze deal activity, conversations, and revenue data to improve forecasting, surface risks, and support better execution across the revenue journey

ORM Technologies's answer:

Cloud-based platform hosted on AWS/Azure, combining machine learning, statistical forecasting, mathematical optimization, and large language models to deliver explainable, actionable, and conversational analytics. Integrates natively with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation systems, and ERP instances. SOC 2 Type 2 certified. Version control via Git.
