Codono was founded in 2017 by engineers who had built and operated cryptocurrency exchanges firsthand. They kept watching founders overpay for closed, rigid white-label platforms with no code access, so they packaged a production-grade exchange stack into a self-hosted product with full source code, the solution they had wanted themselves.
