I don't like the service. It is very slow and very expensive. Not recommended it to others.
Don't work the heatmap and I did not like others.
I found that Hotjar was not user-friendly. It's hard to navigate, I kept getting lost. They should do a better job with their customer service as well. I felt like they weren't responsive to my needs and it just wasn't worth the money for me to continue with them.
hotjar is buggy and slows down my website and pc also. it is too expensive. its not worthy.

We've used Hotjar to record user behaviour on the platform in order to help us help our users by fixing issues faster and proactively improving the layout of key pages with the visitor in mind. If you have installed a heat map like hotjar.com then I will tell you that I used that for a month and found 5 or so dead ends where users were not getting to the cart or clicking on things that where not informative enough to lead to the next action. Source: about 1 year ago
Install hotjar.com - it's free. It's a heatmap that tracks how people navigate around your site. Why this matters? You can see where people drop off on your site (specifically, what content they see/don't see). Then, you can make informed decisions on what content is landing and what needs to change. I can see that you have kept an input box that asks to write optician. It is not the most wonderful user experience in my opinion. Besides, just asking customers what they want is a 💩 idea. If Henry Ford asked people what they wanted they would have replied "Idk a faster horse?" instead of a car (I think this is a Steve Jobs quote but don't quote me on that). The idea has always been to use tools that are available like HotJar, understand how people navigate your store and then calculate/predict what they want based on consumer behavior on... Here's some more actionable advice: Head over to some newer athletic brands websites like GymShark and look at their design, consistency, product pages, etc. At the end of the day consumer trust is more important than just bland traffic to your site. This isn't about SEO like other comments are saying; SEO is to drive traffic in your site and you already have that; you want to convert that traffic into sales so now you have to understand how they're interacting with your store.
