UserVoice
ParseUserVoice is recommended for medium to large-sized businesses, product managers, customer experience teams, and any organization looking to foster a more interactive relationship with their customer base to drive product improvements. It suits industries where customer feedback is a critical component of growth and innovation, such as technology, software development, and digital services.
Based on our record, Parse should be more popular than UserVoice. It has been mentiond 21 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I have sent them some user stories, complete with storyboard images. I am not a beta participant though. I suggested that it would be helpful if they rolled out something like UserVoice's Feedback Manager, so there is transparency to what's in the request queue and where we users can formally vote on the value of a given feature suggestion. - Collecting customer's feature requests: This is a tough one, I am using https://uservoice.com/ but I don't like it that much. I am searching for a self-hosted alternative to https://canny.io/. - Source: Hacker News / over 4 years ago
I think that RM should consider a solution such as UserVoice which will let the user community vote on what critical bug fixes or new features we feel are most important. Not only can a user upvote a feature request or critical fix, but they can also add comments to help substantiate their vote. Source: over 4 years ago
Six months later, UserVoice wanted to sign in with Courier and mentioned we lacked some functionalities they wanted. Specifically, they wanted to put two blocks next to each other in the notification designer. So, the sales and product team reached out to me, and I went, โOh yeah, I hacked that together; it was cool but with a few bugs.โ. - Source: dev.to / over 4 years ago

Backend as a Service (BaaS) goes back to early 2010โs with companies like Parse and Firebase. These products integrated everything a backend provides to a webapp in a single, integrated package that makes it easier to get started and enables you to offload some of the devops maintenance work to someone else. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
Parse Server is a great way to quickly spin up a backend for your project. Parse is a Node based utility that sits on top of ExpressJS. - Source: dev.to / over 3 years ago
You can try https://parseplatform.org/, it is self-hosted if you need. And also there are a number of cloud services with compatible API, like https://www.back4app.com/ It has dart-friendly generated API client, much simpler than firebase and is built on top of postgresql and mongodb. Not to crash the party or anything. Supabase is great and all but in terms of feature completeness and getting actual products built, it doesn't come close to Parse[0]. Same with Appwrite. Both of these are very popular but they either lack essential features or have them behind a subscription wall. For example, the OSS version of Supabase (last I checked) doesn't include the edge functions which are really... - Source: Hacker News / about 4 years ago
