Tracya helps SaaS teams guide their users without involving their engineers. You paste one snippet into your app, install the Tracya browser extension and build onboarding flows by clicking directly on the real elements of your live application. What you build is what your users see. No proxy, no screenshots, no iframes.

Tracya ships four components: tooltips anchored to any element, modals for full-attention moments, highlights to draw the eye and non-intrusive banners. You get flow analytics to see where users start, complete or drop off, so you can improve your onboarding over time.

Two things set Tracya apart. First, the pricing: you pay per project, never per user. Your bill stays the same whether you have ten users or a hundred thousand, unlike tools that charge by monthly active users and raise your bill as you grow. Plans start at 29 โ‚ฌ excl. VAT per month, with a permanent free plan and no credit card required to start. (Yeah, for real, no credit card required)

Second, the data. Everything Tracya runs on is hosted at Hetzner in Germany. No end-user data leaves the European Economic Area, no IP addresses are stored for widget events, and a Data Processing Agreement is included on every plan. Tracya is operated by Athivia Labs SAS, a French company, which means no third-country jurisdiction applies to your users' data. For teams that need to answer a DPO's questions clearly, this is a real advantage over American onboarding tools.

The browser extension is available on the Chrome Web Store (which also covers Edge and Opera) and on Firefox Add-ons, so installation is a one-click, official process.

Tracya is a young, focused product. It does four components well, at a predictable price, in the EU. If you need dozens of native integrations, an AI layer or mobile app support, a larger platform will serve you better. If you want onboarding live this afternoon without a budget line for it, Tracya is built for you.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Userpilot and Tracya.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Tracya's answer:

Tracya is built with modern web technologies and hosted entirely on EU-based infrastructure (Hetzner, Germany). Keeping all data within the European Economic Area is a core design decision, not an add-on.

What makes your product unique?

Tracya's answer:

Tracya is the European alternative for no-code in-app onboarding. Two things set it apart. First, the pricing is fixed per project and never counts your users, so your bill stays the same whether you have ten users or a hundred thousand. Second, everything is hosted in the EU (Hetzner, Germany): no end-user data leaves the European Economic Area, no IP addresses are stored, and a Data Processing Agreement is included on every plan. You build flows by clicking directly on your real application through a browser extension, with no proxy, no screenshots and no iframes.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Tracya's answer:

Choose Tracya if you want onboarding live quickly without a large budget, a bill that stays flat as you grow, and your users' data kept in Europe. Most onboarding tools are American, priced for funded teams, and bill by monthly active users. Tracya is European, starts at 29 โ‚ฌ excl. VAT per month with a permanent free plan, and bills per project. It is a focused tool: four components (tooltips, modals, highlights, banners) done well, rather than a broad platform. If you need dozens of integrations or an AI layer, a larger tool will serve you better, and we say so plainly.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Tracya's answer:

Independent SaaS teams and solo founders in Europe who need to guide their users without involving their engineers. Typically small teams that find enterprise onboarding tools too expensive for their stage, and companies with a real requirement to keep user data inside the EU. We are also glad to welcome your from many other parts of the World!

What's the story behind your product?

Tracya's answer:

Tracya is built by Athivia Labs, an independent French software company. We started from a simple observation: the best-known onboarding tools are American, priced for funded companies, bill by the user and store data overseas. We wanted a European alternative that stays affordable as you grow and keeps user data in the EU by design. Tracya is the result: a no-code onboarding tool that runs on your real application, at a fixed price.
