What's the story behind your product?

DocJacket's answer:

EventJacket started when I was helping out a friend who runs a Renaissance fair. They were struggling with event management tools that were either too expensive or didn’t have all the features they needed. That’s when I decided to build a better solution – something specifically for nonprofits like theirs.

As a one-person SaaS operation, I created EventJacket to make managing events easier. It handles everything from ticket sales to organizing performers, vendors, volunteers, and more. Over time, it’s evolved into a full event management platform that includes things like CRM, QR code ticket scanning, and analytics – all designed to be simple and affordable.

One big focus has been making it work well with tools like Stripe for payment processing, so organizations can easily sell tickets and track their sales. Ultimately, my goal is to offer an event management platform that nonprofits can rely on without breaking the bank.
