Objects 5 features
  • Flexible Scheduling
Single-day, date-range, and recurring tasks. Daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, and yearly options.
  • Span Mode
Define a recurring day range (e.g. Friday to Sunday) with a completion target instead of rigid daily schedules.
  • Range Targets

  • Folders & Custom Ordering
Color-coded folders to organize tasks. Drag and drop to arrange tasks.
  • Encrypted Sync

Backup and restore all data as JSON. Merge or overwrite on import.
  • Theming
Dark and light mode with auto-detection. Custom accent color.
  • Privacy by Design
No accounts, no cookies, no analytics. All data stays on-device unless sync is explicitly enabled.
  • Decentralized Object Storage
Objects.to provides decentralized storage solutions, allowing users to store data across distributed networks rather than relying on a single centralized server, which enhances data resilience and reduces single points of failure.
  • Web3 and Blockchain Integration
The platform is designed with Web3 principles in mind, making it well-suited for developers building decentralized applications (dApps) that need reliable and censorship-resistant storage.
  • Simple API and Developer Experience
Objects.to offers a straightforward API that makes it relatively easy for developers to integrate decentralized storage into their projects without needing deep expertise in the underlying protocols.
  • Content Persistence
Data stored through Objects.to benefits from content-addressable storage mechanisms, helping ensure that files remain available and verifiable over time without risk of link rot or unauthorized modification.
  • Cost-Effective Storage
Compared to traditional cloud storage providers, Objects.to can offer competitive pricing by leveraging decentralized storage networks, potentially reducing costs for developers and businesses storing large amounts of data.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Mainstream Adoption
Objects.to is a relatively niche platform compared to established cloud storage providers like AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage, which means fewer community resources, tutorials, and third-party integrations are available.
  • Performance and Latency Concerns
Decentralized storage can sometimes suffer from higher latency and slower retrieval speeds compared to centralized cloud services that have globally distributed CDNs and optimized infrastructure.
  • Reliability and Uptime Uncertainty
As a smaller and newer platform, Objects.to may not offer the same level of guaranteed uptime and SLAs that enterprise-grade centralized storage providers commit to.
  • Learning Curve for Non-Web3 Developers
Developers unfamiliar with decentralized storage concepts, content addressing, and Web3 paradigms may face a steeper learning curve when adopting Objects.to compared to traditional storage solutions.
  • Limited Documentation and Support
Being a smaller platform, Objects.to may have less comprehensive documentation, fewer support channels, and slower response times for troubleshooting compared to major cloud providers with dedicated support teams.

Analysis

An editorial look at what each product does well and who it suits.

TODO.73.nu
Objects

Overall verdict

  • TODO.73.nu appears to be a minimalist, lightweight to-do and task management tool that can be a good fit for users who value simplicity and speed over feature-heavy platforms. However, without independent verification of its uptime, security practices, and data handling, users should evaluate it carefully before relying on it for critical tasks.

Why this product is good

  • Likely offers a clean, distraction-free interface for quick task capture
  • Minimalist tools tend to load fast and require little setup
  • May be free or low-cost, making it accessible for casual users
  • Simple task managers are easy to learn with minimal onboarding

Recommended for

  • Individuals who want a simple, no-frills to-do list
  • Users who prefer lightweight web tools over full project management suites
  • People managing personal tasks rather than complex team workflows
  • Anyone looking for a quick, temporary task-tracking solution

Overall verdict

  • Objects.to is a niche link-in-bio and personal landing page tool. It appears to offer a minimalist way to consolidate links, but it has limited brand recognition compared to major competitors like Linktree, Bio.link, or Beacons, and detailed independent reviews or long-term reliability data are scarce.

Why this product is good

  • Simple, minimalist interface for creating a single landing page
  • Likely free or low-cost tier for basic use cases
  • Quick setup for consolidating multiple links in one place
  • Lightweight alternative if you dislike bloated link-in-bio tools

Recommended for

  • Individuals wanting a very basic, no-frills link page
  • Users experimenting with alternatives to mainstream link-in-bio services
  • Small creators who don't need advanced analytics or customization
  • Those prioritizing simplicity over extensive design options

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing TODO.73.nu and Objects.

What makes your product unique?

TODO.73.nu's answer

Span mode. Most todo apps force tasks into rigid daily checkboxes or single deadlines. TODO.73.nu lets you define recurring time windows with completion targets. "Exercise 3 times this week" tracks across Monday to Sunday and stops showing up for that time span, after checking it three times. On top of that, optional sync is end-to-end encrypted so the server can't read your tasks. No accounts, no sign-up, just a shared key.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

TODO.73.nu's answer

Because it handles scheduling patterns that Todoist, Apple Reminders, and Google Tasks simply can't. "Do this 2 times between Monday and Friday." "Complete this 4 times within this date range." Those tools don't understand flexible windows. Beyond that, it's fast, private, and simple. No tracking, no ads, works offline, loads instantly, and your data stays yours.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

TODO.73.nu's answer

People who think in time blocks rather than strict daily routines. You want to run three times this week but don't care which days. You need to finish something within a project window and want to see progress without micromanaging individual dates. Privacy matters to you, but you also just want something that works without creating yet another account.

What's the story behind your product?

TODO.73.nu's answer

I wanted a simple way to track tasks that need to happen a certain number of times within a flexible window. Exercise 3 times this weekend. Finish something 5 times during a two-week stretch. Every app I tried forced per-day schedules. None of them got the concept of "X times within this span." So I built it. Span mode was the reason this app exists. Everything else (encrypted sync, offline support, the minimal design) grew around it because I wanted something I could actually use every day without giving up privacy or dealing with bloat.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

TODO.73.nu's answer

Vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No frameworks, no build tools, no dependencies. The whole app is a single HTML file. Encryption runs through the browser's native Web Crypto API (AES-256-GCM, PBKDF2). Service Workers handle offline use and PWA installation. LZ-String compresses data in localStorage. The backend is a small PHP script that only stores encrypted blobs and never sees your actual data. The whole thing is deliberately simple and self-hostable.
