I had ideas to build an app, and made few 2 years ago or so. Indeed these technologies are great to start with. I would suggest going with Kodular.io or thunkable.com instead of appinventor. My recommendation is to sign up for codecademy.com and create an account to learn SQL over there. Also use sqlbolt.com because both of these websites provide detailed interactive SQL tutorials that should help you write it.
