I don't think I have enough time to apply for the IRS IRIS application and get approved to receive a TCC number to e-file through IRIS (and I'd rather use a service anyway). Can anyone clarify if there is some sort of additional IRS... Source: almost 3 years ago
As long as your accounting software can export your contractor totals and you have their SSN or EINs, then just import that to tax1099.com and efile that. They also efile the 1096 which is the total the company paid to contractors. Source: about 3 years ago
