It's built for PowerPoint karaoke and nothing else. The decks are written to be presented cold: believable slides, charts and diagrams with no punchline of their own, so the laugh comes from the presenter and not the slide. The TV shows the deck, the presenter's phone is the clicker, and everyone else reacts and scores from their own phone. Nobody installs anything.

Most party games put everyone on their phones answering questions. Slide Roulette puts one person on their feet in front of the room, and makes everyone else the audience and the judges. It also takes away the chores that usually kill PowerPoint karaoke: finding decks nobody has seen, passing a laptop around, and keeping score by who shouts loudest. It runs in any browser, safe mode keeps it fit for the office, and it's in both English and Danish.

People who organise a get-together and want everyone involved, not just watching: office Christmas parties and company events, team days, Friday bars, student associations, and friends at home. Teachers, improv groups and quiz hosts use it too, for presentation practice and warm-ups. It works best with 6 to 30 people and a TV.

Slide Roulette is made in Denmark by a one-person company. It started from a simple idea: PowerPoint karaoke is one of the best party games there is, but setting it up is a chore. So it became a web app where the TV, the phones and the decks are ready the moment someone types a code.
