You can remap the keys so that "Special: Power" key button does nothing.. Or even to the original function (on my keyboard it would mean Volume Down would be F12 instead). Especially if you recently migrated from Windows, I'm sure you'll like HyperSwitch. It's lag-free, keyboard window switcher. Show all apps with it's windows in one list, like in windows. But I'm not sure it works on arm, my mpb on intel. Source: over 3 years ago
As a millennial, the first thing I do when I get a new Macbook is install Hyperswitch [1] which makes Cmd+Tab cycle through all windows of all applications of the current desktop. The regular OSX workflow seems to be only good for a workflow that includes a single maximised Chrome window with a million tabs open.
