Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Radar Fiscal and GitHub.

What makes your product unique?

Radar Fiscal's answer

It's the only tool that shows personalized tax deadlines for Spanish autónomos — filtered by your exact tax regime. Not a generic calendar, not a gestoría trying to sell you services. Just your deadlines, at a glance.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Radar Fiscal's answer

Competitors are accounting SaaS platforms that happen to have blog articles about deadlines. Radar Fiscal is purpose-built for one thing: knowing what you owe and when. It's free, works as a browser extension, supports 9 languages for expats, and syncs with your calendar app.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Radar Fiscal's answer

Self-employed workers (autónomos) in Spain, especially expats who aren't yet familiar with the Spanish tax system. Also useful for any autónomo who wants a quick visual overview of upcoming deadlines without navigating the AEAT website.

What's the story behind your product?

Radar Fiscal's answer

I moved to Spain and became autónomo. The AEAT calendar lists every obligation for every taxpayer — overwhelming when you just want to know what applies to you. I built Radar Fiscal to solve my own problem: a simple tool that tells you "here's what YOU need to file, and here's the date."

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Radar Fiscal's answer

TypeScript, Lit (web components), Vite, Cloudflare Workers. Chrome Extension (Manifest V3) and Firefox add-on.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Radar Fiscal's answer

  • Individual autónomos in Spain
  • Expat freelancers and digital nomads
