I'm going through the textbook "Beginning Perl" located at perl.org, and I'm having a confuse with one of the example questions. I'm supposed to determine the order of operations for 26 + 3 ^ 4 * 2. According to the precedence table in the textbook, + and * come before ^. So I think the answer should be ((26 + 3) ^ (4 * 2)), but the book says the answer is 26 + (3 ^ (4 * 2)). This, and OP should practice handling the stress. Find a friend to do interviews with, or give yourself a timer, or whatever. codingame.com is a good alternative if you want to try dealing with a timer and don't want to be able to cheat. Source: about 3 years ago

Personally, I like codingame.com (completely free unless you are an employer) - Their simple puzzles are great places to get an idea of how programming works and the kinds of problems they solve. I think the first puzzle I was able to solve as a beginner in a few days. Source: over 3 years ago
