Possible disadvantages of MacUncle

MacUncle is a relatively niche brand, and there are limited independent third-party reviews available, making it harder for potential customers to assess reliability and quality before purchasing.
  • Separate Purchases for Different Tasks
Each tool addresses a specific task, meaning users who need multiple functionalities may have to purchase several separate products rather than having an all-in-one solution, increasing overall costs.
  • Limited Customer Support Options

  • Limited Customization
While HyperDock offers several useful features, it doesn't provide extensive customization options compared to other dock enhancement tools.

MacUncle Reviews

  1. Don't Bother...

I am having problems with MacUncle Mbox Viewer that need to be answered. I have tried repeatedly to contact Technical Support to no avail. No one answers the telephone. The Live Chat fails to open. No reply to Email. So my questions go unanswered.

  2. Money back guarantee is total BS

There website offers a 30 day money back guarantee - it's BS. They only offer a refund if the copy you download won't work, and then only you work with them to make it work and it remains dysfunctional. This is a legal requirement in any event - if you buy something and it doesn't work, you're entitled to a refund without question!!

I simply bought the wrong product, haven't used it and will never use it. They refuse to refund me.

  3. Horrible software and terrible support

TERRIBLE. I bought the conversion for thunderbird to gmail. Could not open due to security issues with apple. Spent 3 days getting MacUncle to have help session. Finally got tech with poor english skills. Had chat session for over two hours during which time finally got software to work only to be told had to spend more money to get upgrade for gmail format. I pitched a fit as gmail format was what I had orginally purchased and they gave the new key for upgrade for free and still could not get it to port converted files into gmail. I finally gave up having wasted the $30 bucks. Meanwhile they use Team Viewer which is a bitch to get off your computer when you are done....I would NOT recommend this software or this company

  • HyperDock still works!!!
Even though Apple is deprecating the API for apps to record the screen like in AltTab and Shottr, HyperDock still continues to work properly! For those who don't know HyperDock is a system extension that brings over window previews from windows, it also brings a few other features, it costs $9.95USD for a license but is worth it, although since it was last updated during the MacOS tiger era it may stop working any... • Simple Questions and Help Thread - Week of September 18, 2022
I've gotten my first Windows machine in maybe 10 years -- is there an app that has the same window management features as Hyperdock for Mac: e.g. Let me resize or move a window simply by holding down hotkeys and moving the mouse while it's over said window (without clicking or dragging)?
