Even though Apple is deprecating the API for apps to record the screen like in AltTab and Shottr, HyperDock still continues to work properly! For those who don't know HyperDock is a system extension that brings over window previews from windows, it also brings a few other features, it costs $9.95USD for a license but is worth it, although since it was last updated during the MacOS tiger era it may stop working any... Here's my search for an replacement of this genius but end of life software. It was last updated in September 2018, rip :( I have used hyperdock for a very long time. Loved the features and the custom settings. Now with MacOS Ventura sadly it doesn't work anymore. Source: over 1 year ago
I've gotten my first Windows machine in maybe 10 years -- is there an app that has the same window management features as Hyperdock for Mac: e.g. Let me resize or move a window simply by holding down hotkeys and moving the mouse while it's over said window (without clicking or dragging)? I use Hyperdock (https://bahoom.com/hyperdock/) to show me miniature pics of all windows an app both active and minimized by hovering over the application's dock icon. Minimized windows are transparent. Source: over 1 year ago

I've used https://bahoom.com/hyperdock/ since Mac OS 10.4 on my Powerbook G4. Still works great and is updated for every macOS release. Best $10 I ever spent. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
Been a professional user of Windows since version 2.01 (1987) until I retired in 2016 and then fully migrated to Mac and I have never looked back. Yes it is a totally different OS and you need some time to get adjusted to it. Two other programs which make the transition easier is HyperDock https://bahoom.com/hyperdock and Alfred https://www.alfredapp.com. Source: about 2 years ago

But still, you cannot see all instances (windows) of the same app in one place. It's a bit inconvenient. I used to use HyperDock in the past, but now I use AltTab to fix this small inconvenience. Source: over 2 years ago
A quick websearch on DuckDuckGo turned up this app: https://bahoom.com/hyperdock/. Source: over 2 years ago
HyperDock https://bahoom.com/hyperdock helps to switch between windows through the dock. Unlike the standard dock, it brings up only the window that you want not all of the windows of the same app. Simple and quicker than the Mission Control too. Source: almost 3 years ago
A month or so ago the HyperDock website went dark and the app started throwing up some sort of license check error and would no longer function. This was unfortunate because I'd really gotten used to the window management and dock preview features in my day-to-day macOS usage. I tried a few other apps to fill the preview void but they all seemed a little slow and janky. Source: about 3 years ago
