LiveChat
DescriptLiveChat is highly recommended for businesses of all sizes that wish to improve their customer support operations. It's particularly beneficial for eCommerce platforms, SMEs, and large enterprises looking to increase sales through enhanced customer communication and support.
Coming from a video editing background, Descript might take some getting used to. But once you figure it out, it speeds up your editing (especially interviews/long-form voiceover). The captions are very nice to work with, but a bit limited in terms of styles. There are a lot more caption styles, transitions, and effects in CapCut, but Descript excels in simplicity and speed.
The saved layouts (you can make your own) are very good if you want to create a bunch of videos on different topics with the same design scheme or branding.
Based on our record, Descript should be more popular than LiveChat. It has been mentiond 12 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Some of it is going to depend on your budget and needs. Many (most?) livechat providers offer WP functionality. For example, livechat.com has a free WP plugin to offer livechat on WP sites:. Source: about 4 years ago
I am free to use any existing library or whatnot, what I was wondering is how easy it is to implement and deploy. I'm not being asked to build a full live chat from scratch, just try and implement a solution that won't add monthly charges to the predicted monthly cost of the website (ie pre-made solutions such as livechat.com that would cost atleast $16/mo). For transcripts, I use Descript. Descript is able to identify all four of our panel members, and I usually spend an hour or so cleaning it up and setting the transcript into a video for YouTube. Source: over 3 years ago
I don't understand exactly what you are trying to do, but I'm pretty sure Descript can do what you want. Source: over 3 years ago
I tried to use descript.com but found out that they didn't have a download for Linux and that their online version doesn't allow you to edit your transcript. Source: almost 4 years ago
