About Klaxel and LeetCode

In their own words, as submitted to SaaSHub.

Klaxel
LeetCode

Klaxel is domain-health monitoring built for agencies and MSPs. Registrars email renewal notices to your client's inbox, not yours — so a silently expired domain (or a lapsed TLS cert, or a broken DMARC record) takes a client site dark and you take the blame. Klaxel watches every domain you...

Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Klaxel 13 features
LeetCode 6 features
  • Domain expiry monitoring
Registrars remind the client; we remind the agency. Daily RDAP checks, escalating alerts at 60 / 30 / 14 / 7 / 1 days and the moment a domain lapses.
  • A–F health grade
Every domain graded A–F across 14 automated checks, so you triage the whole client fleet at a glance.
  • TLS / SSL certificate monitoring
Certificate expiry plus configuration posture — alerts before a cert lapses or weakens.
  • DNS & DNSSEC checks
Nameserver resolution and DNSSEC validation on every domain.
  • Email authentication
SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX checked continuously — catch deliverability breakage before clients do.
  • Web security checks
HTTPS enforcement, HSTS, redirect chains, and subdomain-takeover exposure.
  • Indexability & reputation
robots / sitemap sanity plus IP blocklist (RBL) reputation checks.
  • Brand / typosquat watch
Detects lookalike and typosquat domains registered against your clients' brands.
  • White-label reporting
Per-client branding and branded monthly PDF reports under your agency's identity.
  • Alert routing
Route alerts to email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, webhooks, or a PSA ticket.
  • PSA ticketing (ConnectWise)
Auto-open and update ConnectWise tickets mapped to the right client; repeats dedupe into notes (idempotency-keyed, no duplicates).
  • Multi-client fleet management
Client groups and per-domain settings — one dashboard across every registrar.
  • Free single-domain checker
Instant, no-signup domain health check at klaxel.com/check

Possible disadvantages

  • Paid Subscription
While LeetCode offers many resources for free, a premium subscription is required to access some advanced features, company-specific questions, additional test cases, and certain problem solutions.
  • Steep Learning Curve
For beginners, the wide range of problem difficulties and the complexity of some problems can be intimidating and may require a significant amount of time and effort to get up to speed.
  • Limited Technology Coverage
LeetCode mainly focuses on algorithm and data structure problems and doesn't cover other technical aspects like system design, databases, or front-end development as comprehensively.
  • Variable Quality of Community Solutions
While the community is active, the quality of user-contributed solutions and explanations can vary significantly, and some may not follow best practices or be optimal.
  • Platform Performance Issues
Some users report occasional performance issues such as slow loading times or glitches during peak usage times, which can be frustrating during practice or contests.
  • Overemphasis on Coding
LeetCode's focus is predominantly on coding problems, which might lead some users to neglect other important skills required for technical interviews, such as communication and problem-solving in real-world scenarios.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Klaxel and LeetCode.

What makes your product unique?

Klaxel's answer

It reads each domain's expiry straight from the registry's official RDAP record — the structured, machine-readable successor to WHOIS — so the date is authoritative, not scraped or guessed. And it alerts you, the agency or MSP, across every client and every registrar in one place. That's the core insight: registrars send the renewal reminder to the domain owner's inbox (your client), which is exactly why domains silently lapse on your watch. Klaxel is the reminder that actually reaches the person responsible — escalating warnings at 60, 30, 14, 7, and 1 day out, plus an alert the moment one expires. The same watch extends to TLS certificates, DNS/DNSSEC, email authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) and web security — every domain graded A–F.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Klaxel's answer

Registrar reminders only cover their own domains and only notify the owner. Uptime/SSL monitors tell you a site is already down — too late to renew. Klaxel is purpose-built for the agency or MSP managing many clients' domains across many registrars: one list, daily RDAP-verified checks, and escalating alerts that reach you before anything lapses — backed by a full A–F health grade (TLS, DNS, email auth, web security) and white-label reports you can hand straight to clients. Paste your domains once; the alerts come to you — no per-registrar logins, no spreadsheet. From $99/mo for 100 domains (Core MSP 500, Enterprise 2,000).

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Klaxel's answer

MSPs, web agencies, freelancers, and design/dev studios that manage domains on behalf of clients — the people who look responsible (and lose the site) when a client's domain quietly expires, even though the renewal was never theirs. Also small in-house teams juggling a portfolio of domains spread across multiple registrars.

What's the story behind your product?

Klaxel's answer

It was built around a painfully common failure mode: an agency loses a client's site because the domain expired — the registrar's reminder went to the client (whose payment card had since expired), and the agency only found out when the site went dark and the client called. Registrars remind the owner; nobody reminds the agency. Klaxel exists to be the agent that does — watching every client domain, across every registrar, and warning the agency or MSP before it's too late.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Klaxel's answer

  • Next.js (React) + TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
  • Prisma ORM + PostgreSQL
  • AWS — App Runner (hosting), RDS, SES (email alerts)
  • Stripe (billing)
  • The IANA RDAP protocol for authoritative registry expiry data
