Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing HackerRank and Cadobook.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Cadobook's answer:

Competitors are built for offices, not vans. They're complex, expensive, and require training. Cadobook is built for solo operators and small crews who need speed and simplicity. AI handles the admin work. Visual workflows automate follow-ups without coding. And pricing is a fraction of enterprise alternatives.

What makes your product unique?

Cadobook's answer:

Cadobook is the only AI-native business platform built specifically for tradespeople. Unlike generic tools, you can create quotes and invoices by simply describing the job in plain English. Say "quote for bathroom remodel, 3 days labor plus materials" and it's done in seconds. Everything is connected: quotes flow to invoices, invoices flow to payments, and workflows automate the rest.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Cadobook's answer:

Tradespeople and service contractors: plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, cleaners, builders, landscapers, and general contractors. Typically solo operators or small teams (1-20 people) in the UK and US who want professional tools without enterprise complexity.

What's the story behind your product?

Cadobook's answer:

We saw tradespeople running their businesses on paper, WhatsApp, and memory — losing hours every week to admin. Existing software was built for offices, not vans. So we built Cadobook: a single platform where AI does the busywork, so tradespeople can focus on what they're great at.
