What makes your product unique?

Snitch's answer:

Snitch builds your org chart by asking employees in Slack who they report to. Each reporting line comes from the person it belongs to, without an HR system to connect or a spreadsheet to import. Employees can update their answers as things change, and Snitch flags reporting loops and departed managers. You can also ask it questions about the chart directly in Slack.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Snitch's answer:

Snitch is a good fit if your team already uses Slack and you want an org chart without taking on another administrative job. Employees provide their own information, while an admin controls who gets contacted and when. You can find reporting chains, check team sizes, and look up colleagues where you already work. Every plan includes all features, with a free trial that requires no credit card.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Snitch's answer:

Snitch is for HR and People Ops teams, operations leaders, and founders at growing companies that use Slack. It's particularly suited to teams of about 20 to 200 people, where knowing everyone and keeping track of reporting lines starts to get difficult. Employees use it to understand the company structure and find the right colleague to approach.

What's the story behind your product?

Snitch's answer:

Snitch grew out of a problem Stefan kept encountering while working with growing companies: people disagreed about who reported to whom, and clearing it up meant someone had to ask everyone individually. Built by the operators at Sweetspot°, Snitch takes on that job inside Slack. The name stuck because it describes what the bot does: it asks who your boss is. An administrator approves the message before it starts asking around.
