This has now created our repository. This repository contains a link which we can share to other users, and this is the link that we need to link our local folder with the newly created repository. To do this, simply access it once you scroll down in the page you are in the simply copy the http link. This is what we shall use. The link usually looks like this http://github.com//. - Source: dev.to / 4 days ago

Https://github.com/2ndalpha/gasmask did this for Macs but I've found that I just don't need it. A static file is fine. I often have old entries in it that I don't use anymore but they don't harm anything being there so they stick around until I do a cleanup pass. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I haven't been an actual admin in years (do sales now) but Gasmask is great for managing multiple hosts files so you can easily hop between overrides. Source: over 3 years ago
Then another thing I use is https://github.com/2ndalpha/gasmask which is basically a multiple /etc/hosts editor (in case you're using Mac OS). But Windows/Linux must have their own alternatives. Basically I put fancy names here, like nameofyourproject.localhost or something like that. Source: about 4 years ago
