Either way, Technic is a super old launcher that I would not recommend using today. You should try Prism Launcher, GDLauncher, or ATLauncher instead, with Prism being my go-to. Source: about 3 years ago
So I downloaded the ATLauncher (https://atlauncher.com/) which is basically a tool for installing modpacks in Minecraft.
