Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Get UserDesk and Codegres.org.

What makes your product unique?

Get UserDesk's answer

UserDesk inverts the usual M365 admin pattern. Instead of routing every routine ticket: password resets, license assignments, group changes, distribution list updates - to an overworked help desk, UserDesk gives delegated approvers at each client just enough UI to handle their own routine work safely. No credentials stored. Full audit trail. One-click revocation. The person closest to the decision makes it: faster for the client, less load for the MSP, no security trade-off.

What's the story behind your product?

Get UserDesk's answer

Built by an MSP operator who spent years watching L1 techs burn hours on the same handful of M365 ticket categories: password resets, license changes, DL adds. The pattern was always the same: someone at the client already knew the answer. They just had no safe way to act on it. UserDesk is the safe way to act on it.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Get UserDesk's answer

Most M365 admin tools (AdminDroid, CoreView, BetterCloud, ManageEngine M365 Manager Plus) are built for internal IT teams managing a single tenant. UserDesk is built for MSPs managing many client tenants. Multi-tenant architecture, per-client delegated approval flows, and per-client audit trails are core, not bolt-ons. Pricing scales with delegates, not with managed user.. MSPs don't pay for every end user at every client they support.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Get UserDesk's answer

Small and mid-size MSPs running M365 administration for portfolios of 5–50 clients, with each client typically 50–2,000 seats. The L1 ticket queue is dominated by password resets, license changes, distribution list adds, and onboarding/offboarding work. Operators who want to free up tech capacity without giving client staff direct M365 admin permissions.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Get UserDesk's answer

Next.js (React) frontend with TypeScript. Node.js backend. All M365 operations go through Microsoft Graph API. Authentication via Microsoft Entra ID with OAuth 2.0 - credentials are never stored, every action executes through delegated, scoped permissions per tenant.
