Overall verdict

  • Gdocify appears to be a niche tool designed to help users convert or manage Google Docs content, but I don't have verified, up-to-date information confirming its current reliability, features, or reputation. What's the story behind your product?

Gdocify's answer

This starts when I was working with a client where I had to automate their Google Docs for contract creations. I come from a software engineering background so I just went ahead and built this crazy Make automation. too many conditions, too much complexity. I managed to get it done but I knew the whole time that this could be simplified. I just didn't have a fully developed idea.

Later I found there's actually real demand for this. People want a simple way to generate Google Docs from their data without becoming a Zapier or Make or n8n expert first. There are already tools solving exactly this. I tried them. They're good. But even the dedicated ones were still introducing their own complexity. New concepts, new steps, a whole new thing to learn just to generate a document.

So I set a goal to reduce that complexity by atleast 1%.
