Lazygit is great, I use it all the time for straight forward git-fu. But if you do any advanced work that involves merging a complex codebase across multiple branches and having to manage your load of conflicts, I find Fork[1] (the free version does fine) still takes the cake for that, as the clarity and lack of keyboard bindings, is essential; to make good, conscious decisions. Do you have access to Microsoft products? They have an appthat students can add to a device that will translate your spoken words into text (you have to have the app or website open as well). There are several other Microsoft translation tools that would also work in different ways, which you may be able to use without a Microsoft license.
