The thing that I personally like about Evernote is that before I have used word as my note taking application, than on my smartphone I have had used Google Keep and so my notes were just unorganized mess. But with Evernote now I can have my notes at one place and unified. Also the fact that I can log to another device and my notes are "just there" is really nice. And also I like graphics user interface of Evernote.

Obsidian is a multi-platform note-taking and writing app. Simple enough. But aren't there plenty of those around? Yes absolutely, but they each have downsides that I wasn't able to settle with long-term. With Google Cloud it was the difficult of linking between notes (this has improved since but it's still not quite what I want). The power off button on the monitor does not work. If I type "http://yahoo.com/" in the address bar, it does not work as expected. Clicking on the Netscape Navigator logo works, but if I type the same address, "www3.netscape.com" manually into the address bar, it does not work. 20-year-old Yahoo account. I get the error message "Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.mail.yahoo.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again." First time it happened I closed TB and relaunched it, at which time it decided to update. Tried sending message again with same error. Tried switching port to 587 with same...
