It does exactly what you’re describing without the need to build out a system in another project management software and it’s designed for freelancers out of the box.   I’ve previously tried Harvest and found that it was just quite heavily geared towards teams (whereas I’m just one person). I’ve also tried Cushion (cushionapp.com), which does seem great and do most of what I want, but doesn’t integrate with Xero (thought it says it does - the integration doesn’t work). • I published a 15-year list of product management articles that covers much of my career to date. Saved first in bookmarks, then in Wordpress, then in Airtable, now in Baserow.

Self-hosting an app like this would allow you to bypass API rate limits altogether, if you're open to it.   I work at Rows. It’s a spreadsheet with native UI to import data from many services ( Google Analytics, Ads platforms, BigQuery,…) plus you can make your own custom api calls directly from the grid.
