Never miss a customer again.
When a plumber, electrician, or heating engineer misses a call, that job often goes to the next number on Google. Pingback fixes that.
How it works The moment a call's missed, Pingback automatically texts the caller back โ instead of them just ringing the next business. Every call, text, and website chat lands in one unified inbox, and each lead moves through a visual pipeline from first contact to job won.
AI that actually helps An AI assistant reads every conversation, flags how urgent it is, and drafts a reply โ trained on the business's own website and any documents they upload (price lists, FAQs, services). A human always reviews and sends it; nothing goes out automatically. Pingback also recognises genuine emergencies (a gas smell, no heating, a burst pipe) and gives the caller safety guidance instantly while alerting the business.
Beyond the inbox - One-tap ETA and job-complete texts - One-click numbered PDF invoicing once a job's won - Automatic Google review requests
Built UK-first GDPR-compliant call recording retention, SMS opt-out handling, and full ICO registration โ not bolted on as an afterthought.
Free 3-day trial, no card required. The first 10 subscribers get 50% off for life.

Pingback's answer:
Built specifically for UK trade businesses, not adapted from a generic US tool. It automatically handles UK compliance most competitors leave to you โ GDPR-compliant call recording retention, SMS consent (STOP/START), and full ICO registration. Its AI also trains on the business's own website and uploaded documents, and never sends anything automatically โ a human always reviews and sends the reply.
Pingback's answer:
Pingback is priced and built for small UK trade businesses specifically, not enterprise teams โ honest, capped-usage pricing rather than per-seat enterprise costs. It bundles missed-call text-back, a unified inbox, AI lead analysis, invoicing, and review requests in one place, so there's no need to stitch together several separate tools.
Pingback's answer:
UK trade businesses โ plumbers, electricians, heating engineers, and similar small or solo operators who lose jobs to missed calls while they're out on site.
Pingback's answer:
Pingback was built after seeing how often small UK trade businesses lose real work simply because they couldn't get to the phone in time โ most callers who don't get through just ring the next number on Google rather than leaving a voicemail. It's being built directly alongside real trade businesses in beta, shaping the product from actual feedback rather than guesswork.
Pingback's answer:
React and TypeScript on the frontend, Node.js/Express on the backend, Twilio for calls and SMS, Google Gemini for AI, and Stripe for billing.

In addition to website metrics, track your local search rankings. Several tools, such as Moz Local and BrightLocal, can help you monitor your local search rankings and compare them to your competitors. Source: about 3 years ago
As far as tools go, ahrefs.com is what I use the most, followed by Google Ads Keyword Planner (free). I have some local clients so I also use brightlocal.com but that probably isn't relevant in your case. There are other tools out there but ahrefs.com has backlink data, an audit tool, and keyword research + tracking, which is really all you need. Moz.com is good too and I believe pretty comparable to ahrefs.com.... Source: over 5 years ago
