  6. Beautiful UI components by the creators of Tailwind CSS.
For Ruby on Mac, I went with Bridgetown using the 1.0.0beta version. It was fairly easy to get set up with Tailwind. I also bought the Tailwind UI Marketing package, which made creating the site a lot faster because I'm not great at CSS. Ruby on Mac gets deployed automatically to Netlify every time I push to GitHub.

For processing payments, I'm using Paddle because they handle all aspects of sales tax for you. If you don't know, sales tax is a huge headache. Here's a Twitter thread I wrote about this.

For my personal site, which is 10 years old, I use Middleman, and I deploy the site to S3/Cloudfront with s3_website. It works fine for now. If s3_website stops working, I'll move to Netlify probably.

Marked takes Markdown text–a simple syntax you can learn in minutes–and turns it into beautiful...
For distributing the Ruby on Mac scripts, I make them available as a download, and I wanted to make it as easy and pleasant as possible to read the documentation. This meant I didn't want people to open up Markdown files. So, I use the Marked 2 app to open up the Markdown files, and then export them to HTML. Marked 2 comes with a bunch of themes, and GitHub is one of them, so the documentation looks great and familiar.

  12. Email marketing software for online creators. We help you earn a living online through an intuitive email marketing automation tool.
For my mailing list, I use ConvertKit, and I want people who buy Ruby on Mac to automatically get added to ConvertKit so I can easily let them know about updates. There is no direct integration between the two, so I looked into Zapier. It's possible, but way too convoluted.
