Archive.org

Actually, archive.org has expanded and combined with a couple of other projects like OpenLibrary and they are not only the largest single "copy" of the internet as a whole, but they are also the most readily available public library with millions of books scanned and available to read for free. They are also working on digitizing miles of film and literal tons of old magazines and newspapers to preserve them for the future without storing actual paper and film. All of which will be open access (or possibly is, I haven't kept up with the latest projects) for anyone to use over the internet.
