For file transfers over the internet, https://wormhole.app/ and https://toffeeshare.com/ are often suggested. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
Isn’t https://wormhole.app/ the solution here? Note I haven’t used it, it’s just often brought up here as a good solution for this class of problem. Is it surprising that the author mentions a ton of solutions but not this one? - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
One of the two creators of https://wormhole.app here :) Now that we’ve shifted our company’s focus to https://socket.dev, I’d love to open source Wormhole. I’m quite proud of the code - I’ve worked on P2P and file transfer systems for so so long that I think this might be some of the best code I’ve worked on. It’s just a matter of finding the time, but I expect this will be open source eventually. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
It's unfortunately not FOSS, but I quite like https://wormhole.app/ - It's client side encrypted and P2P when possible. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago

You might look at https://wormhole.app/ - it will store files < 5 GB for 24 hours, > 5 GB you need to leave the browser window open until the transfer completes. No installation needed. Source: over 1 year ago
You could also try https://wormhole.app - which I like and respect - but is it really worth the trouble? Source: over 1 year ago

Wondering if there is any better alternative to torrents with privtracker.com for sharing large files/folders. For small files I use Send (send.vis.ee) as recommended on privacyguides.org, but sometimes I want to share large files/folders in the 10-50GB range. I found wormhole.app but that only goes up to 10GB. (Looking at the Send FAQ on GitHub and a message on Wormhole's Discord server, the limits on both have... Source: over 1 year ago
Just use https://wormhole.app - it is end to end encrypted, privacy preserving and network friendly. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
So I don't know what format you have it in. I use STL files but I can usually change them to what I need. As far as sending it to me, I don't really want your email nor you to have mine. You can use this https://wormhole.app/ and dm me the link. I have never used it before but it looks reliable. Source: almost 2 years ago
You can also use https://wormhole.app/ to drop a file and share the link super easily, no account (though file is deleted after a day). Source: almost 2 years ago

Hey, would you please share your replay file with me? I think the easist way for file sharing is probably https://wormhole.app/ or you can write me a pm on reddit and I can give you my discord handle. Source: almost 2 years ago
I love using Wormhole (https://wormhole.app/) for this purpose. It is extremely fast, and for large files it uses peer-to-peer technology to speed up downloads. Download links can also expire, which is a nice bonus. (N.b. Not associated with Wormhole or the developers; I'm just a satisfied user.). - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I'd suggest wormhole.app for that. It's basically a link sharing service with a 10GB limit. Works great and you can even set time limit and download restrictions like how long you want the file available or how many times the file can be downloaded before it's deleted. Source: almost 2 years ago
