  1. PASTE is software for storing and sharing text. The software was originally forked from the outrageously popular pastebin. com before the domain was sold in 2010. Read more about PASTE.
    Paste: I started using this app when Apple's universal copy-paste stopped working every now and then. Apart from that, I love being able to have a clipboard history synced between my MacBook and iPhone. ~$17/year.

    Xnip is another good one. There is a free version with fewer features and a paid one. It supports built in annotation. If you need bare bones screen shot abilities for free, Macupdate shows another program called Menu Snappr that looks promising: https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/63398/menu-snappr-ii.

    Checked out swish, but I think I'll stick with https://hookshot.app. The idea is nice, but while it is customisable, it is too limiting. Hookshot gets it just right :/.
