Most of their widgets and analytics are also offered by other services such as SE. Source: 10 months ago
I've got a problem with the new Twitch's Alerts feature. I can't modify the CSS code to add my own font. When I click to validate there's an error message. Yet, I use exactly the same code line with streamlabs.com as well as streamelements.com's alerts, I generated it thanks to fontsquirrel.com and it works very well. Source: 11 months ago
On the last few streams, my viewers have noticed that they are not getting points for my giveaway in Loyalty. Viewers only got a few points during a 4 hour stream and then it froze (they only got 40-60pts instead of 500 to 1000pts). I searched the internet to see where the problem might be, but couldn't find any information. I wrote directly to streamelements.com support and got a reply back saying that they have... I'm not sure on the exact specification for this. I bought mine off of Etsy and so they were already prepared. You can also use https://streamelements.com which has a nice tool for installing already built overlays or creating your own. Source: about 1 year ago
For your overlays, go for functionality over looks. Since the type of show that you plan to do is focused on bringing information to your viewers, go minimal with it. You can literally assemble things using StreamElements overlay creator (which is free), to create just the essential widgets that you'd need (follower? subscriber? donations? etc) and add visuals by compounding Color Sources on OBS to make it look... You can use a site like Streamlabs or Streamelements.com (I'd recommend streamelements.com personally). Source: over 1 year ago
I recommend using StreamElements for your custom alerts and chatbots, also overlays? But overlays are getting less popular now. Source: almost 2 years ago
StreamElements has a nice bot, you can also try Streamer.bot. Source: almost 2 years ago
Https://imgur.com/a/G89Ppcs four things that set off suspicious vibes, I have never used stream elements, I have like 10 followers, the "offer" expires the same day I got it(seems like a fomo type thing), and they never use my twitch name in the email. Although, when I hit the get started button, it took me to streamelements.com which appears to be the actual website. It was actually a little longer than that but... Source: almost 2 years ago
Installation of this widget is relatively simple and is often a case of simply copying and pasting some code. Everything is detailed and documented on the Github repository. The widget is available for StreamElements and Streamlabs as a custom widget. Simply copy the appropriate code and replace the code in each of the appropriate fields. Source: almost 2 years ago
Hello friends. So like the title says, my streams have been disconnecting exactly every 2 hours and 4 mins. I have tried every possible solution I can think of to fix this but nothing has worked. I did look at the stream log and one of the things that seemed like it could be an issue is a bunch of TypeError messages from streamelements.com . (note- I have no clue what im actually looking for in these logs but I... Source: about 2 years ago

Use OBS as your recording software go to https://streamelements.com/ where you can make free overlays for OBS. Source: about 2 years ago
The best I can suggest is going to streamelements.com, log in and make a new overlay in the streaming tools drop down. Source: over 2 years ago
Use StreamElements to create a simple overlay. Alpha Gaming has a great video on how to do all of this in less than 15 minutes! Source: over 2 years ago
I would suggest using StreamElements, and linking your PayPal to that. Whenever someone wants to tip you, it will link them direct you to the StreamElements website where it will only show your Stream name, not your real name. Pretty well established, trusted, and secure :). Source: over 2 years ago
StreamElements is mostly browser based (so it's really lightweight!), they have an OBS extension called SE.Live (used to be OBS.Live, but they changed it to be respectful to OBS after the SL drama). It's what I recommend for alerts and other functions if you're fully considering using OBS Studio. Source: over 2 years ago
You mean to Streamelements? https://streamelements.com/ its a service that you use for overlays, alerts, bots and so on. The watchtime is in the loyalty section and the stats is in the stats. If you haven't used it before and you have not connected it to your Twitch I don't think it will show anything. Source: over 2 years ago
Https://streamelements.com/ appears to be a different thing than StreamLabs, and StreamElements is what the article references. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
