You should check out this software: https://ephtracy.github.io/ You can build 3d models with blocks and even export them to minecraft. Source: 10 months ago
Hey there, I posted about Vox Uristi a while ago at the beginning of the development, and it's close to be feature complete - so here is an update. Vox Uristi is a tool to export fortresses in 3D models that can be opened in Magica Voxel to make renders. Blind made a nice video explaining the process. It relies on DFHack, and it's free and open source. Source: 11 months ago
Also want to confirm that you're downloading it from the official website https://ephtracy.github.io/ and not anywhere else. Source: 11 months ago
You can use the new export to MagicalVoxel .vox feature to export Avoyd worlds to the .vox format for use in MagicaVoxel along with other programs which support .vox such as Qubicle, IOLITE voxel game engine, RPG in a Box, Idu, Teardown and more. Source: 11 months ago
So use multiple blocks. Or even better, use a different tool that integrates with MagicaVoxel. Source: 12 months ago
The problem in more detail is that I used MagicaVoxel (Download here:https://ephtracy.github.io ) and I made a Voxel model (3D pixel Art) and Then tried importing the file to unity in the assets tab, I first tried using VoxelShop because thats what the tutorial for MagicaVoxel used. When I downloaded the Most recent version of VoxelShop it would open and close Immediately, This happened for every version that I... Source: about 1 year ago

Hello! I'm a voxel artist who uses magicavoxel to create art based on any games, tv, movie and my own ideas and I enjoy it,. Source: over 1 year ago
Also my personal favourite, Magicavoxel. Super simple but still quite potent lightweight voxel modelling software. Super easy to pick up and fiddle around with. It's like Minecraft! Except without anything that isn't a block. I've personally use magicavoxel a ton over the years and I can help if you want. Source: over 1 year ago
For those not familiar, MagicaVoxel is a free, voxel-based 3D modelling tool: https://ephtracy.github.io/. Source: over 1 year ago
This really makes me with I knew how to use the program Magicavoxel. I'm not an artist so if you've never heard of it I really don't know how to explain what it is other than it's like pixel art meets Minecraft. I'd honestly love to see what someone here comes up with using Voxel. A lot of outstanding and dedicated creators in the Holo community. Source: over 1 year ago
Ive heard good things from magicavoxel but have never tried it myself. May be a good place to look https://ephtracy.github.io/. Source: over 1 year ago

You have a terribly outdated version...the most recent one is 0.99.7.0 but that's just a beta the most recent full release is 0.99.6.4, download them here because I could imagine that your version doesn't even support shaders. Source: over 1 year ago
MagicaVoxel, you can download it for free: https://ephtracy.github.io/. Source: over 1 year ago
Voxels, exactly! Software is called MagicaVoxel. Open source! Source: over 1 year ago
You're right it's a voxel model, it's made in MagicaVoxel. Source: over 1 year ago
There is only one production-ready tool, called "MagicaVoxel" but it's rather designed for sculpting terrain & fancy renders, not for creating animated characters and such. Source: over 1 year ago
You can use a free tool called MagicaVoxel which allows you to intuitively model voxel-based characters and props. You can then create a new mesh for every “frame” of animation and swap it out through GDScript / C#. I used this method in my Pac-Man VR game (check my post history). For more complex environments and terrains, such as that of Minecraft, you can use a height map based approach. Stick to a limited and... Source: over 1 year ago
In an effort to inspire the creative side of the technical community, and, really, because we all love gaming, we created a new GitHub repo with artwork from one of our favorite Voxel artists Zach Soares. Zach is a celebrated Voxel artist, teacher, and the creative director at Bunnyhug Games. In the new repo, we added instructions on how to use the files and how to get started. There are several Voxel tools to... - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
