Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing WebWork Time Tracker and CrewDriven.

What makes your product unique?

WebWork Time Tracker's answer

WebWork Time Tracker stands out as a truly all-in-one workforce platform. What sets it apart is the combination of time tracking, AI-powered insights, deep monitoring capabilities, and end-to-end workforce management all in one place.

CrewDriven's answer:

CrewDriven is modular — you never pay for a feature you don't use.

You switch on only the parts you actually run your agency on:

  • Clients, projects, and time tracking
  • Invoicing, payments, and multi-currency P&L
  • Resource planning and capacity
  • Time off, hiring, and document e-signing
  • Client portal and time-tracker integrations

Most agency platforms sell one bundle: you buy all of it, use a third, and keep paying for the rest.

The second difference is scope. Client work, the team doing it, and the money it produces live in one system — so profit per client is something the platform already knows, not something you rebuild in a
spreadsheet at the end of every month.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

WebWork Time Tracker's answer

A person should choose WebWoek Time Tracker, because WebWork is a true all-in-one platform — from clock-in to payroll. On top of that, it's powered by an agentic AI assistant that analyzes performance, detects burnout, and takes proactive steps for your team. And all of this starts at just $3.99 per user.

CrewDriven's answer:

Three reasons:

  • You pay for what you switch on. Productive.io, Scoro and Bitrix24 price a full bundle whether or not half of it is dead weight for you.
  • It fits 2–25 people. Enterprise PSA tools need an implementation project before they return anything. CrewDriven is useful in the first week.
  • Money is native, not a bolt-on. Payments in any currency normalize to one reporting currency automatically, so P&L, payroll and client profitability come out right without manual conversion — the first thing a spreadsheet gets wrong.

It is also free during the launch period, and the interface ships in both English and Ukrainian.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

WebWork Time Tracker's answer

WebWork is ideal for businesses where remote work, billable hours, timesheets, and productivity monitoring are core to operations:

  • Staffing & Recruiting
  • Marketing & creative agencies
  • Software development & IT firms
  • Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies
  • Freelancing & outsourcing platforms
  • Customer support & call centers
  • Healthcare & Healthcare Staffing

CrewDriven's answer:

Owners and operations leads at small digital agencies of 2–25 people, plus solo freelancers running several clients at once.

Typically service businesses that:

  • Bill hourly, on retainer, or fixed-price
  • Work across currencies and borders
  • Have outgrown spreadsheets but cannot justify an enterprise PSA rollout

Strongest fit in Ukraine and the EU, where invoicing foreign clients in several currencies is routine.

What's the story behind your product?

WebWork Time Tracker's answer

The story of WebWork began all the way back in early 2016 with our founder, Vahagn Sargsyan. As the leader of a web development firm with international clients, he needed to track time to present as proof of work. However, after experimenting with lots of time trackers, Vahagn and his team weren't able to find what they needed — so he decided to build the perfect one himself.

CrewDriven's answer:

CrewDriven came out of running an agency, not out of a product plan. Clients lived in one spreadsheet, team rates in another, invoices in a third, and the P&L was rebuilt by hand every month. The simplest question never had a fast answer: are we actually making money on this client?

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

WebWork Time Tracker's answer

WebWork is built with fully native apps on every platform — lightweight, fast, and designed to run silently in the background for hours. The backend runs on a modern, high-performance stack engineered for real-time data processing at scale. WebWork was also one of the first time tracking platforms to ship a fully agentic AI — an autonomous assistant that monitors, analyzes, and acts on workforce data without manual input.

CrewDriven's answer:

Laravel 12 with PostgreSQL, using schema-per-tenant multi-tenancy so each workspace's data is physically separated. The front end is React 18 and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS and built with Vite. Deploys are zero-downtime with automatic rollback on a failed health check.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

CrewDriven's answer:

Currently in the free launch period; customer names will be added as workspaces opt in to be referenced
