Probably Waydroid [1]. It's been around for a while and apparently works very well. [1] https://waydro.id. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
Maybe the real focus should be treating Android as a single purpose environment rather than your real/life depending one. Maybe the better approach would be focusing on getting postmarketOS to work, and use an emulation or recompilation layer that is running Android in a box (pun intended). Anbox and others were still too painful to use for daily usage, but maybe you can get rid of everything except the things... - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
Yep, and in the reverse, you don't need a separate kernel to run Android software on Linux: https://waydro.id. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
In theory you have the likes of the PinePhone where you can run a full Linux kernel [1]. You could then use something like Waydroid to run Android apps [2]. I think the biggest concern is that many of the important apps are anti-emulation, for example banking apps and authentication apps. Another interesting point: I copied both my answer and the suggested answer into diffchecker.com, and it said they were the same. Source: almost 3 years ago
Never knew diffchecker.com was a thing. Thank you so much for making me aware of it <3. Source: about 3 years ago
In what way did you show the file comparison? Did you use a diff like diffchecker.com ? If someone can see for themselves that every bit of data between two files is exactly the same, and still thinks they are different, IDK how you could get past that. x == x is pretty fundamental. How do I find the actual difference between two strings that appear equal to the naked eye? I used multiple tools and some show no differences, but some show differences. I got diffs on diffchecker.com, but it just shows me that they are different, but not how they differ. Is there a better tool for this? Source: over 3 years ago
I am wondering if there's something that allows you to easily display differences between two json like on diffchecker.com. Is there a library that allows you to easily do that? Source: almost 4 years ago
