• Any homelabbers familiar with gpu passthrough to Linux vm with ESXi? To be specific, I'd like to know how I can determine whether my vm is actually using the gpu for 3d graphics acceleration.

  You could download an Unigine benchmark. If it runs like crap... You don't have acceleration (should be obvious). Where crap is anything less than 30fps (likely it will be far less). Source: over 3 years ago
