Cplusplus.com is particularly recommended for beginners and intermediate C++ programmers who are looking for structured tutorials and reference materials. It can also be useful for experienced developers who want a quick reference guide or need to brush up on specific topics.
C++ might be a bit more popular than Typst. We know about 56 links to it since March 2021 and only 52 links to Typst. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Typesetting: Typst, installed that morning because the idea needed it. 5.5×8.5in spreads, plates facing their fables. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
ZUGFeRD and Factur-X are standards used in Germany and France that solve this by putting both readers in one file: a normal PDF users can look at, with the structured invoice data embedded as XML for automation. This post explains why you would want or need that and how Oicana produces such a file from a Typst template. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
Like many of us here I prefer not use PowerPoint. Recently I've been making slides in Typst (https://typst.app) which is great, except there's no good way to actually present the resulting PDF, and no support for speaker notes, videos or GIFS. To fix this I built Presio: https://presio.xyz. Present any PDF in the browser as two synced windows, a controller (speaker notes, timer, media controls) and a viewer for... - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
This post looks at what the European Accessibility Act and the US accessibility framework (ADA and Section 508) mean for businesses that produce PDFs, whether PDF/UA is actually required, and how Oicana exports PDF/UA-1 documents from Typst templates. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
> Is there anything similar to (or better than) overleaf for collaborating on typst docs? To be clear, overleaf isn’t all that great but I sometimes work with groups that are used to it. Yes, https://typst.app/ is the official Typst app (part of how they make money). > Have conferences that traditionally accepted latex source (and specified latex templates) started accepting typst as well? Very few by now. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
About 4 months ago (approximately the last time I wrote something here), I opted to embark on a graduate school journey at Stony Brook University, Computer Science (if you have a remote position — Technical Writer and/or Software Engineer position — at a non-USA company, don't hesitate to reach out). Was it the best decision to make considering less pay (if any), more theoretical undertakings and assumptions, and... - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
Full of wrong and/or incomplete information. I prefer cplusplus.com when I need to look up some library details. Source: about 3 years ago
For C++ I would suggest using cplusplus.com. Fantastic resource to use. Source: about 3 years ago
C++ was far from my first language. I took Modula-2 and FORTRAN in school. I knew about pointers, linked lists, etc before writing my first line of C++. I think the best way to learn is just to work on projects that interest you. Get familiar with online resources. I like cplusplus.com and cppreference.com (can get a little verbose). I'm also a big fan of w3schools.com. They have a good C++ tutorial for beginners. Source: over 3 years ago
I second this. cplusplus.com will pop up on your searches, I just blocked it. Loaded with ads and slow, and almost always less thorough than cppreference. I found geeksforgeeks OK when learning algorithms - not so much the language itself though. Source: over 3 years ago
