Hey about the tv shows, I've been using tvtime.com for years and it's great. You can even add favorite shows so that's what I look at if people ask me for recommendations. You could either use IMDb as other people have said or a tv tracking app like TvTime which lets you track the shows you watch and it also notifies you whenever an episode is available! Source: about 5 years ago
