I spent some time working on this tool called IMDB-Trakt-Syncer which syncs user watchlist, ratings and comments for Movies, TV Shows and Episodes both ways between IMDB and Trakt. Hey about the tv shows, I've been using tvtime.com for years and it's great. You can even add favorite shows so that's what I look at if people ask me for recommendations.
