I love how Trix [0] and (I think) ProseMirror [1] work in that regard: it does use contenteditable, but every edit you make is applied to an internal model instead, then the editor state is updated back from the model. And also the weird thing that I saw is when you go take their survey so they can take your commission, they sent you to a weird โtypeform.comโ link which apparently is a website that allowed them to have a web based platform they can use to create surveys without needing to...
